An overview of locations featured in the manga and movie of Koe no Katachi, primarily set in a slightly fictionalized version of Ogaki, Gifu Prefecture, Japan. A majority of these locations are based off ones in the real world, though there are a few exceptions.

Shōko’s Father‏‎ (硝子の父, Shōko no chichi) is a minor character in the Koe no Katachi series, exclusive to the manga. He is the unnamed ex-husband of Yaeko Nishimiya and the father of Shōko Nishimiya and Yuzuru Nishimiya. Hey there, I've found there's a few places online to read the full manga, but some chapter 1's start at different places or have coloured pages vs the same in B/W.
No need to thrust your own sensibility and life's philosophy onto this story. Viewing a film is a subjective experience. All art is filtered through the viewer's 'sensibility and life philosophy'. 2. I got offended right at the mention of Your Name , because judge this movie on its own merits for heaven's sake.
Glad you liked it, i agree on Your Name. A Silent Voice had me much more emotionally invested since Your Name's plot has a more broad sense of things while ASV just focused on a small group of individuals and the impact between them. Your Name's plot just gets lost in translation between the beginning to the climax.
I remember in the making-of video that the clear skies in the movie was meant to represent Ishida's headspace or something. The real life elliptical field is dope af. I agree for the most part though. The city of Ogaki also has some of the Silent Voice locations listed on their website .
